Evelyn reworked my mom's wedding gown for me and did a spectacular job of it! She cut out an open oval back, dropped the waistline from empire to classic, and fashioned a gorgeous train from the cape! Evelyn was truly a godsend through our wedding preparations. She not only executed every detail I wanted to perfection, but she was also extremely quick, responsive, and knowledgeable. She even helped me practice walking in my dress, making time for questions and tips. I knew she must have been so busy, as my wedding was during peak wedding times, but she never made me feel rushed or anything less than her top priority. We spend so much time and effort picking out the perfect dress, that it’s so important that the person altering it is someone we can trust. I am so thankful we found Evelyn - I would recommend her to anyone needing wedding or formal alterations. I worked with Evelyn to alter two dresses- my wedding gown, purchased from Urban Set next door, and my after party dress! She was so friendly every time I saw her, easy to chat with, and gave great advice throughout the process.

She taught me how to walk & turn in the dress, how to stand when chatting so photos would turn out well, and was always happy to meet whichever friend I brought along to any particular visit.
